Of all Turkey's delicious sweet confections, the most famous is baklava. The earliest record of baklava locates it in Gaziantep and from there to the rest of Turkey. This exquisitely flavored pastry is a part of Anatolia culture for many centuries, with the Güllüoğlu family name. Güllü Çelebi is the first artisan of his family who turned Antep with his expertise on pistachio baklava and continues this tradition for five generations.
